Hollywood Connection – Met Gala 2021

The Met Gala, often known as the fashion world’s Oscar Night, usually falls on the first Monday of May. however after being cancelled completely in 2020 and being postponed this year, the star-studded night returned on the second Monday of September in 2021. This year’s theme was “American Independence”. The red carpet of the Met Gala was covered in Hollywood’s elite. From musicians, to actors, to designers. As always, showcasing the best the world of fashion has to offer, some going as over the top as they can, and some choosing to keep it simple.
The ones that caught my eye were not the huge over the top outfits, rather the simple, elegant looks that didn’t garner as much attention as they should have. These are 10 Met Gala outfits that prove the saying less is more true.
1) Regina King

We have been seeing some gorgeous looks from Kristen Stewart these past few weeks as she continues to promote Spencer, this one is no exception. Kristen went for a very feminine look channeling Barbie for her look from Chanel.
