DESI QUEEN
Desi Queen
Her mahogany skin
A tapestry resembling her ancestry
Her unruly hair
Has no bound like her courage
Her pigmented lips
Bearing the strength of her Voice
For it is her weapon
When she battles prejudice
As she speaks for the voiceless
Her body with such curves
Marked with scars that tells her story
She walks with pride
Yet so humble to look at me and smile
She hears them whisper
Snickering behind her back
But she pays no attention
For her Aura has great power
And incinerated their hate
Like flies flying into a light trap
As they were merely insecta
Flying aimlessly in her presence
The presence of a Lioness
