Each memory bringing me joy and sadness 

For what was was,

And what could’ve been,

My almost forever, 

My forever almost.

At night as I lay in my bed, 

The loneliness envelopes me like your love once did,

It’s an almost comforting embrace, slowly lulling me to sleep, 

wiping my tears away,  

and as I escape into a peaceful yet solitary slumber,
