- What are 5 of your favourite local brands?
There are definitely more than 5. However, if I have to list them, they would be: ‘LOVI Ceylon,’ with their exceptional line of sarongs, ‘O:LIVE Couture,’ for suits, ‘NIMNA,’ for streetwear, ‘MAZE,’ for colourful socks and, (not to be biased), but ‘La Ceyloné,’ for all-day, everyday summer inspired shirts and outfits.
- What is your favourite shoe brand and type of shoe?
I’m a big fan of old school shoes and brogues – ‘Cole Haan,’ would be the name that comes to mind.
- Where do you get your inspiration when it comes to your Fashion sense?
I think it started with me being a part of the fashion industry as a model, as well being behind the scenes of shows, shoots and actually building brands. I take a lot of inspiration from different personalities as well as different eras of fashion and cultures.
- What’s your go to brand for sunglasses?
‘Ray-Ban!’ All day, everyday.
- Patterns or Block colours?
I would say both – it depends on the occasion and the mood.

Obviously other than my phone, I carry a pair of shades alongside my glasses, my tab to work on-the-go and check emails, and more recently, I’ve been carrying my power bank and a La Ceyloné face mask around too.

‘YSL,’ ‘Dolce & Gabbana,’ ‘GUCCI,’ ‘TOM FORD’ and as a watch brand, ’ROLEX.’
- What would you recommend to wear on a casual night out with friends?
I’d say something that brings out your personality more than anything. If it was me, I would couple a nice chino or a denim with a La Ceyloné shirt, then accessorize the outfit with some silver jewellery and a nice pair of matching shoes – not to forget, colourful socks!
- Any tips to look good in any situation?
A smile and confidence makes anyone stand out.
