About Us

Chokolaate Magazine was founded in 2006 by Michelle Gunesekara, Chokolaate is a youth oriented quarterly magazine. The magazine covers a broad variety of interests such as education, fashion, music, drama, sports, achievers, features, creative, Etc., and is widely accepted for its quality content.

We strive to bring out and nurture the talent in the youth of Sri Lanka. Chokolaate organizes 2 main events throughout the year, each year we have our annual Mother Daughter Fashion Designer Competition, broadly known under the brand name “MDFD” which is targeted at amateur fashion designers. Likewise Chokolaate Magazine also runs a teen and youth talent contest called Chokolaate Centerstage which is aimed at bringing out the singing talents of youth in Sri Lanka.
