Chokolaate Magazine was founded in 2006 by Michelle Gunesekara, Chokolaate is a youth oriented quarterly magazine. The magazine covers a broad variety of interests such as education, fashion, music, drama, sports, achievers, features, creative, Etc., and is widely accepted for its quality content.
We strive to bring out and nurture the talent in the youth of Sri Lanka. Chokolaate organizes 2 main events throughout the year, each year we have our annual Mother Daughter Fashion Designer Competition, broadly known under the brand name “MDFD” which is targeted at amateur fashion designers. Likewise Chokolaate Magazine also runs a teen and youth talent contest called Chokolaate Centerstage which is aimed at bringing out the singing talents of youth in Sri Lanka.
In the midst of January’s dullness, Zahiya took it upon herself to inject a burst of vibrancy into the town. No longer content with being a passive bystander to the winter blues, she assumed the role of the chief architect of her own narrative.
Discovering an old journal filled with aspirations she had long forgotten, Zahiya decided to embark on a journey of rediscovery. Armed with a paintbrush and the power of words, she transformed mundane winter days into a captivating saga, breathing life into the town that had succumbed to the monotony of the season.
Navigating the frost-kissed landscapes, Zahiya unraveled the labyrinth of her own thoughts and dreams. The old journal, a silent witness to her past ambitions, became a trusted companion guiding her through the maze of forgotten aspirations. Each stroke of color and carefully chosen word became a step in her personal renaissance, creating a narrative that echoed with the revitalization of her spirit.
Though the cold grip of winter persisted, Zahiya’s creative fervor radiated warmth, transforming the town into a canvas painted with the hues of her imagination. The once-muted surroundings now pulsated with life, a testament to the transformative power of her artistic endeavors.
