HOME
She covers with her delicate fingers; sea shells,
Homes of tiny creatures; now her precious treasures,
Her innocent eyes fix with mine as she speaks,
“They’ve abandoned their homes, Mother
But I shall never abandon this home of mine”.
And through my child, I see, a simple truth so deep,
For a home like the ocean with its relentless tides,
Can still be beautiful for as long as it needs to be.
