We witness quite a lot of unjustifiable behavior from some men (not all). All the uncompromising situations such as sexual abuses, child abuses, unwarranted sex talks, etc. arrive due to the ignorance of the typical parents (just a few) of the cruel human monsters who stoop to the bottom-most level.
In an Asian household, it’s not a startling matter that their sons are given more freedom (most of it) than the girls (probably the least privileges). Some of those who belong to the so-called superior gender utilize this liberty to display their ability by disfiguring a woman’s chastity. Remember, due to this cheap act, ‘the girl’ suffers till she dies for good and the scars remain even after generations pass.
if a boy commits a massive blunder the antique society would say and turn their back “ක ොලකලො එකෙම තමයි ඉතින්” but what if the ක ලකලො commit just a trivial mistake? Yes, the bunch starts to evaluate her character, an infinite number of taunts from those paternal aunts pass day by day and unceasing pain, still and all she is the victim. This is where it all begins. Few mothers don’t know what and how their sons talk to other women. Instead they are too busy finding loopholes for their daughters. “Girls shouldn’t be out after 5’, ‘girls should not interact with the unknown’, ‘girls should marry before 25’, ‘girls should be decent when they are in public’ exhausted listening to all these! So, shouldn’t men act decently in public?
Not a feminist idea but the apparent truth. They don’t receive their punishment even after committing such a disgusting act as they are ‘men’ and are supposed to do it. Even if it is so, why is it just 2 or 4 years? What is the value of the life which was killed brutally?
Yes, the disparity in the brown families lead to such consequences as the boys are grown up with the mindset “we are men we can do anything and still needless to compensate or rectify them”
We as youngsters shouldn’t underestimate this situation. It’s aggregating. Girls aren’t mere plastic dolls to play with. “Haste measures are better than slain bodies”
