Black Widow Review
Marvel’s most long awaited solo film, Black Widow was an incredible, emotional an action packed addition to the MCU that has been a long time coming, a story that at its very core is about sisterly love. From her conception in the Marvel comics in 1964 Black Widow has been a super spy, and we see that in the film as the story plays out like an espionage thriller. It brought many emotions, nostalgia, excitement, laughter, sadness and shock. The movie delivered many plot twists while also answering many questions that were left unanswered. Black Widow and Yelena Belova have no powers or special abilities, so we get to see some of the best hand to hand combat in the MCU. Scarlett Johansson delivered such a brilliant and powerful performance that really elicits emotions. The entire cast played off each other extremely well. One of the only things that did not please fans however, was the movie’s villain, Taskmaster. Watch our full review here
Loki Finale
Filled with the magic of WandaVision, the action of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and the Mystery of Doctor Strange, Loki premiered in June 2021 and from it’s pilot episode alone it had fans hooked. Loki is truly a fresh, brilliant, and creative new series from Marvel Studios. A bold new take on Tom Hiddleston’s Loki as the God of Mischief embarks on an adventure that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, dealing with time, space and the very multiverse itself. To say this show has changed the future of the MCU is an understatement. The season finale of Loki has set up a whole new universe of possibilities.
